We have thousands of satisfied customers. Here are a few of our projects that have been written up as case studies:

Case Study 1: Husky Injection Molding Systems Ltd.
Husky chose a Bi-Fuel genset as its emergency power system for critical IT and security systems at the Bolton, ON plant. While high reliability was a key priority, minimizing environmental impact was also a major concern. Read the bi-fuel case study Bi-Fuel Engine Kicks in Emergency Power and learn how Total Power was able to help integrate and maintain a bi-fuel system without disturbing the aesthetic appearance of the Husky facility.

Case Study 2: Globe and Mail
The Globe and Mail has put out a newspaper on every publishing day since it was established in 1844. Being able to continue publishing in the eventuality of a blackout was an integral part of a recent case - of which the conclusion was to get Total Power to install a 600kW Generac Power Systems emergency standby genset. That installation in 2001 meant that when the power went out on August 14, 2003 the Globe was able to continue printing.

Case Study 3: Power Awareness
On August 14th, 2003 at 4:12 p.m. the power grid went off-line and 50 million people became unplugged. The lights went out, gas stations stopped pumping fuel, and elevators stopped - trapping the occupants. At that moment and in the following days home and business owners realized how vulnerable they were. Not only did air conditioning units cease to work - businesses in general grounded to a halt. Without computer systems, few businesses could operate. Frozen food started to melt and spoil. Restaurants and retailers closed. Booking systems and call centers stopped working.
